Federal Financial Aid Regulations require schools to establish an estimated cost of attendance (COA) to be used in calculating eligibility for financial aid funds. The cost of attendance includes direct costs (charges paid directly to the school) and indirect costs (expenses incurred by the student, not paid directly to the school, during the academic period for which they are enrolled).
There are times when a student's actual costs may exceed the COA used to calculate a student's eligibility. Examples include enrolling in courses with a tuition rate higher than the standard, being required to purchase specific equipment for a class, and so on.
To discuss a cost of attendance adjustment, connect with us by completing the Request to Meet with a Financial Aid Team Member Form
Please note that an approved COA adjustment may not result in additional financial aid due to program fund limits and the availability of funds.

Greetings, Baron Nation!
It's truly a joy to be back in a place that has shaped me so profoundly. I'm Willie Ford, a proud 2022 graduate of historic Brewton-Parker Christian University, holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a Minor in Education. Following my graduation, I embarked on a journey in education, teaching Special Education within the Vidalia City School District. In addition to my role as an educator, I had the privilege of serving as the Unit Director at the J.D. Rabun Boys and Girls Club. All the while, I was honored to pastor at the esteemed New Hope Baptist Church of Rhine, Georgia. With God's grace, I managed these responsibilities, and now, I'm thrilled and ready to contribute to the welfare of our students, aiming to inspire through service.
