Program
of Study
The Bachelor of Ministry degree at Brewton-Parker College is a seminary-like
education for pastors, leaders, and ministers who take their call seriously.
This practical, real-life learning program is designed to give the student
solid biblical foundations with expert training in mini-stry skills. Students
in the Bachelor of Ministry program experience hands-on training in ministry
areas that make them better pastors and ministers.
Bachelor of Ministry classes are taught in a group
format where there is significant interaction among the students and the professors.
Students learn from each
other under the direction of the professor according to a flexible schedule
that is friendly to the busy minister or employed student. Field education
is one of the vital components of the degree program, enabling students to
hone their ministry skills under guided supervision.
Faculty Comments
"In a postmodern age marked by doubt, fear, confusion, and com-peting voices, the Bible provides spiritual certainty and moral clarity. The mission of Brewton-Parker’s Division of Religion and Philosophy is to not only grow in our head and heart knowledge of biblical truth, but also to learn how we must apply it both in the church and to the world. With open Scriptures and burning hearts (Luke 24:32), we take up this challenge in every course we teach."
Dr. Jerry Ray, Associate Professor of Christian Studies
