ABWA chapter for Brewton-Parker approved
MOUNT VERNON - A chapter of the American Business Women's Association has been approved for Brewton-Parker College students, staff and faculty members.
The Vidalia chapter of ABWA, of which Holly Nielson is president, is the charter chapter for the Brewton-Parker chapter. Lynn Addison, Vidalia ABWA member and BPC Bookstore manager, serves as liaison for the new chapter.
The ABWA has a history of professional working women making new inroads to the business world.
The organization has existed for more than 50 years with its mission remaining constant: to bring together business women of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support and national recognition.
Inquiries concerning joining the BPC chapter may be directed to Addison at 583-3285 or firstname.lastname@example.org, or Shannon Perry at 583-3125 or email@example.com.
