Students honor Halloween with pumpkins ....

Brewton-Parker College students (from left) Celia Cocke, Lori Wilson and Ashley Poole hold the three prize-winning entries in Friendship Hall's pumpkin decorating contest. Resident director Takara Solomon is at right. Cocke and Wilson earned first place and a $20 Wal-Mart shopping card donated by student affairs for the entry Cocke is holding. Wilson holds Amanda Simmons' second-place entry, which earned her an AM/FM radio/cassette player donated by the BPC Bookstore. Poole won a $10 Food Court certificate donated by Aramark Food Services for her third-place entry. Judges were Lynn Addison, Harry Bayne and Kent and Cindy Crockett.

 

... deceased with All Saints' Day cleanup

McAllister Hall residents (from left) Monica Miller, Jennifer Cox, Trudie Ridley and Lane Snyder complete a time of respect and remembrance in honor of All Saints' Day on Friday by cleaning gravesites at Mount Vernon Cemetery. Joy Osemiha and Katie Lowry also participated in the afternoon project.
