Fatal stabbing takes the life of a former Brewton-Parker student

  On Wednesday evening, May 28, police reports confirm Ms. Robin Willis Matthews was found in her car stabbed to death behind and/or near the Bethany Nursing Home in Vidalia, Georgia.

Graduate returns to Brewton-Parker as Prof. after serving in the military


A new face walks familiar paths on the campus of Brewton-Parker College.  He carries years of experience in one hand and a desire to make a difference in the other.  Alumnus William David “Dave” Wilkes has returned to Brewton-Parker College as a professor and has recently been offered the position of Chaplain to the Brewton-Parker College baseball team.

Brewton-Parker College held Commencement Ceremonies for the Class of 2014 Saturday, May 10 on the Mount Vernon campus inside Saliba Chapel. Special guest speaker for the ceremony was author and renowned evangelist Dr. Tim Lee of Garland, Texas.

Brewton-Parker’s Taylor Scores 95th Percentile on National Test
  Jared Taylor, a Brewton-Parker College biology major, scored in the 95 percentile on a national test.

Corley Receives Richard B. Russell Award

  Mrs. Pat Mercer of the Richard B. Russell chapter of the Daughters of American Colonists presented the General Richard Montgomery award for an outstanding history student to Tyler Corley at Brewton-Parker College on Thursday, May 1.

Brewton-Parker Hosts 2014 Spring Concert

  Two days after the reunion of the alumni choir, Brewton-Parker College showcased the musical talent found within its community again; Voices of Truth, the Community Wind Ensemble, and the Concert Choir joined forces on April 28 for the 2014 Spring Concert.
