Nationally Recognized Leader Visits BPC Political Science Classes

2014 JFK “Profiles in Courage” award winner, Paul Bridges, spoke to Professor Roger Byrd’s Leadership and Policy class recently.  Bridges, the former mayor of Uvalda, Ga., will receive the award at the JFK Center in Boston on May 5. Mr. Bridges’ visit was a part of class research for an upcoming presentation dealing with the dangers and challenges associated with the politics of division. The presentation, “A Short Route to Chaos”, will be held on April 29 in the Gilder Recital Hall beginning at 7:00 pm.
