Alumna Celebrates 102nd Birthday During BPC’s Chapel Service

  BPC alumna Camella “Mell” Whipple (’30) of Vidalia charmed Brewton-Parker students with her witty and frank responses during a Q&A session at BPC’s Sept.24 chapel service, which was designed to celebrate her 102nd birthday.

BPC Blood Drive Exceeds Goal

  Brewton-Parker College students, faculty, staff, and members of the community participated in a blood drive Thursday, Sept. 19 at the Briscoe Center on the Mount Vernon campus.

Zambian Students Share Personal Testimonies During BPC Chapel

  Those in attendance of Brewton-Parker’s Sept. 10 chapel service were part of a special treat as two of BPC’s Zambian transfer students shared their personal salvation testimonies.

BPC Barons Volunteer at J.D. Dickerson

  Members of the Brewton-Parker College Barons Basketball Team volunteered at J.D. Dickerson Primary School Monday, Sept. 6 as the students taught the players the story of “Pete the Cat” and the song that goes along with the story.

BPC Men’s Basketball Gives to the Boys and Girls Club


On Tuesday, Aug. 27, the Brewton-Parker College men’s basketball team visited the Boys and Girls Club of Toombs County to give out brand new basketballs to teenagers to use during their time in the gym.

Annual Math and Science Festival Set for Oct. 19


Brewton-Parker College will host its biannual Math & Science Festival Saturday, Oct. 19 in the college’s Morgan-Moses Building on its Mount Vernon campus from 10 a.m. to noon.

The mission of Brewton-Parker College, a Georgia Baptist college, is to develop the whole student through the application
of Biblically-centered truth to a liberal arts curriculum in a community of shared Christian values.
