In the Spotlight: Kiah Dossey

Kiah Dossey

Name: Kiah Dossey

Major: Middle Grades Education

Student Organizations/Teams: Yearbook, Young Alumni

Graduation Date: May 12, 2014

Plans after Graduation: I’m moving to North Carolina, where I’ll hopefully teach, because I’m getting married. I enjoy helping students, especially in middle grade because they’re more mature than the little kids.

Skills and Knowledge Acquired While at BPC: Being in the school classroom for observations and being with the kids has helped me realize how much I love this major. The classes I took helped me prepare to be a middle school teacher and helped me to relate to the kids. They have also challenged me to make teaching more fun.
