Living Life to the Max   
  Dr. Frank Cox, Senior Pastor of North Metro First Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, Ga., brought an inspiring message to the student body during BPC’s eighth chapel service on Tuesday, March 20, encouraging the students to “live your life to the max,” seeking a purpose and meaning through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Biannual Math and Science Festival Open to K-12 Students

  Brewton-Parker College will host its annual Spring Math & Science Festival Saturday, March 31 in the college’s Morgan-Moses Building on its Mount Vernon campus from 10 a.m. to noon.

BPC Cheerleaders Take 2nd at Nationals

  The Brewton-Parker College Competitive Cheerleading All Girl Squad competed at CCA Nationals last weekend and took home the second place division trophy.

BPC Recognized for Participation in Relay for Life

  Wanda Fountain, county chair for the Montgomery County Relay for Life presented a plaque to Brewton-Parker College Tuesday, March 6, for 100% School Participation in the 2011 relay event.

BPC Accepts Proposal to Extend Curfew

  Recently, Brewton-Parker College underwent some struggles and continued to grow under a few of the new administration changes. A large change that has affected campus life was Brewton-Parker College’s work and school week shortened to four days. With this adjustment, many students around campus felt that curfew should also reflect the new schedule change.

BPC Student Donates Time to Assist Others
  Wheeler County High School senior and Brewton-Parker ACCEL student, Kaci Pedersen, and beauty pageant friend, Miranda Bryant, have co-founded “Princesses With a Purpose,” a charity organization based in Dublin, GA that raises funds for ill, foster, and poverty-stricken children.

Senior Joshua McPhatter Encourages Fellow Students at Chapel

  Joshua McPhatter, a senior at Brewton-Parker and recently crowned Homecoming King, was the speaker for the Black Heritage History chapel service on February 27.
