BPC welcomes Jayme Dye into coaching staff

 

Brewton-Parker College’s women’s soccer head coach Jayme Dye begins her first BPC season with a 5-3 win over Florida College last weekend (Aug. 27). The Lady Barons rebounded with the win after a tough, last half 0-3 loss to Thomas University only two days earlier.

Toombs-Montgomery area churches welcomed students back to campus with a “Back to School Bash” Monday, August 22 in the Phillips Student Center on the Mount Vernon campus.

Sign and Stamp Solutions extends business to BPC campus

  Sign and Stamps Solutions of Vidalia expanded its business to Brewton-Parker College’s Mount Vernon campus, opening the doors of the new campus store, Campus Connection, Monday, August 15.

Volunteers clean-up BPC campus Aug. 13

  A group of students, faculty and staff, along with community members and other volunteers, gathered on Saturday, August 13 to take part in a campus-wide community service project geared toward campus beautification.

  Brewton-Parker College will kick off the start of the 2011-2012 academic year by welcoming new students to campus Wednesday, August 17.

Barons Soccer scrimmage on campus this week

  The Barons soccer teams returned to campus last week to begin practicing for the 2011 season. Scrimmages will be held on campus Friday, August 12 against USC-Salkehatchie. The men play first at 3 p.m. and the women follow at 5 p.m.

  When Janie Lore recently retired from the director's position at the Brewton-Parker College Newnan campus, Courtney Parker volunteered for the position on an interim basis until the new director, Tim Hammett was hired.

  Jordan McClellan, a 2011 Creekview High School (Canton, Ga.) graduate, puts others first while serving this summer at Pine Cove Christian Camps, a ministry, that for 43 years, has sought to glorify God through Christian camping.
