BPC Community Calendar

MOUNT VERNON – Here are some important events happening on campus at Brewton-Parker College in Mount Vernon.

Red Cross Blood Drive

The Lady Barons Basketball Team invites the community and BPC family to participate in an American Red Cross Blood Drive on the Mount Vernon campus, Thursday, September 9th. The drive will be held between 1:30 p.m. and 6 in the Red Cross Bloodmobile, which will be parked next to the Phillips Student Center. Call the Office of Student Affairs at 583-3206 for more information.

Voter Registration Drive

Brewton-Parker College’s Student Government Association will host Voter Registration Drive on campus this week and next to give students, faculty and staff a chance to register to vote in the upcoming elections. Deadline to register in the November Elections is October 4th. Absentee Ballots will also be available. Call E’Quain Rhodes at 583-3206 for more information.

Women’s Soccer Game

Come out and support the Women’s Soccer team this Saturday at 4:30 p.m. as they take on Savannah College of Art and Design. Admission is free. Go Barons! We are your Hometown College Team!

Coffee Shop brews Starbucks Coffee

Brewton-Parker College’s Coffee Shop in the Phillips Student Center proudly brews Starbucks Coffee. Coffee shop hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Community Lawn Sale and Chili Cook-off

The BPC Women’s Fellowship will host a Community Lawn Sale on the college’s front lawn Saturday, October 2. Call Mary Waalkes at 583-3110 to secure your booth site today. Cost is $20 for space and the seller keeps their profits. This event is a fundraiser to help support the BPC Chili Cook-off, which is raising funds for a new electronic sign for the campus. The Ladies invite chili cooking teams to enter its Third Annual Chili Cook-off, Saturday, Oct. 23. Mark your calendar for a fun, family time at the Mount Vernon campus where you can cast your vote for the Best Chili in the Surrounding Area. Call Jennifer Blaylock at 583-3210 for more information.

Brewton-Parker College is the only accredited four-year Christian college in south Georgia. The college offers bachelor’s and associate’s degrees at its main campus in Mount Vernon and external learning site in Newnan.
