Blood Kin author to give reading Sept. 23

Blood Kin

Through a generous grant from Mr. George and Mrs. Sarah Chapman, The Oracle and the BPC creative writing community announce a reading by Mr. Robert T.S. Mickles, Sr. Tuesday, Sept. 23 beginning at 7:00 pm in Gates Auditorium.

Everyone is welcome to this free reading.

A Savannah native, Mr. Mickles is the great-grandson of former slaves on one side of his family and Portuguese slave-traders on the other.  This double heritage makes him uniquely qualified to tell the amazing story of family division and family love that he shares in his book, Blood Kin.
