MOUNT VERNON—McRae Coca-Cola strengthened its 15 year partnership with Brewton-Parker College Sept. 6 when Sales Center Manager Charlie Yawn of McRae Coca-Cola Bottling Company presented BPC Director of Development Roger Byrd with an approximate $5,000 contribution. The check is part of the college’s contractual agreement with the local soda bottling company, and is in addition to the athletic and collegiate support it has contributed to the local Christian college over the years.
“It feels great to have this partnership with Brewton-Parker,” said Yawn. “We plan to continue this partnership with the college for many years to come.”
“McRae Coca-Cola Bottling Company has been a real friend to the Brewton-Parker community,” said Byrd. “They help the college in numerous ways. During the hottest part of the summer they donated PowerAde for the BPC employees and athletes working and training out in the heat. Additionally, they provide an excellent service with excellent products.”
Brewton-Parker College is the only accredited four year Christian college in south Georgia. The main campus is located in Mount Vernon, with six additional external centers located around the state.
