Baseball team moves gazebo

MOUNT VERNON—Brewton-Parker College (BPC) men’s baseball team provided some much-needed “man-power” on campus Oct. 15 – literally. The team, under the direction and close supervision of head coach Hayne Brant, Provost Dr. T. Ronald Melton and Plant Operations Director Ray Hamilton, moved the existing gazebo behind the Residential Restaurant closer to Jones Lake, which is currently experiencing a “renovation”. The lake has been drained and scraped and the dam repaired. Two new features have also been built to add to the lake’s appeal: a new boat dock and a dock with an attached gazebo. When completed, the area will be outfitted with wireless internet. (Photo by Kelley M. Arnold)
