BPC’s Choral Society performs ‘Seven Last Words of Christ’

MOUNT VERNON—More than 200 music aficionados from the surrounding counties attended the Brewton-Parker College Choral Society’s performance of Theodore Dubois’ “The Seven Last Words of Christ” March 29 in Saliba Chapel on the Mount Vernon campus. The society is composed of 52 singers, of which 15 are community members. The public is invited to join the college’s Division of Music for more free performances on the Mount Vernon campus this month. Next week, the Baron Ringers hold their Spring Concert Thursday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m. in Gilder Recital Hall.
