Baron Basketball season tickets on sale

MOUNT VERNON – Season tickets for the 2006-07 edition of Brewton-Parker College basketball are currently on sale according to Steve Barker, BPC athletic director.

“This season’s schedule is one of the most challenging we have ever had,” said Barker.  “People in the surrounding community will appreciate the high level of play.”

Fans may purchase the $60 “Baron Booster Package”, which includes season tickets for one person to all 27 home contests for the Barons and Lady Barons.  The package also includes “choice, comfortable seating behind the scorer’s table and access to the Hall of Fame hospitality room,” Barker said.  In addition, those purchasing season tickets will receive a nice gift and will have their names listed in game programs.  Additional season tickets can be purchased for $40 per person.

Both the Barons and Lady Barons will be in action this weekend, Nov. 3-4, in the annual BPC/Days Inn Tip-Off Classic.  The Lady Barons will take on Webber International Nov. 3 at 6 p.m. and Edward Waters College Nov. 4 at 4 p.m.  The Barons will face SCAD Nov. 3 at 8 p.m. and Webber University Nov. 4 at 6 p.m.  All games will be played in Gillis Gymnasium inside the Bartow and Jean Snooks Student Activities Center.
