Math and Science Festival set for March 18 at BPC
Brewton-Parker College's Spring Math and Science Festival is planned for Saturday, March 18, announced Dr. David McMillin, chair of BPC's Mathematics and Natural Sciences Division.
The event, in conjunction with the Heart of Georgia Youth Science and Technology Center, is from 10 a.m. to noon in the Morgan-Moses Math and Science Center on the Brewton-Parker campus in Mount Vernon.
The festival is free for all area students from kindergarten up through high school. Students will participate in hands-on science demonstrations and math games. There will be a variety of booths available for all ages.
“Come and see how much fun math and science can be,” McMillin said.
