You probably first discovered BPC offered online classes by
visiting our e-portal at http://online.bpc.edu
You may have also had prior experience with Brewton-Parker College and heard about online classes from faculty, staff, or fellow
students. Online classes are just one of
many delivery methods for our classes. The primary focus of online learning at Brewton-Parker College is to add
the convenience of asynchronous learning with all the quality and student
focused Christian education that is found in our traditional day class format. You can learn more about which specific
programs are offered by looking through the web site.
Once you are enrolled as a student you will be assigned an
advisor that can help you choose the classes that are right for you and your
goals. You will also utilize the online
learning system to virtually attend class. You will use campus web to see which classes are offered and register
for those classes. You will have access to
most of what you need to get started by browsing to http://bpc.educampusonline.com/current-students and
following the links there.
If you have any questions about online learning, just contact
your advisor or the registrar. For
technical questions, contact technology services. For questions specific to a class, contact
the professor.
The Brewton-Parker college web site is located at www.bpc.edu and is the primary tool that we use
to provide information to faculty, staff, prospective students, parents, and
current students. It will change from
time to time as we enhance and add content. There are a few sections that are important to be familiar with so that
you can get the most out of your experience at Brewton-Parker College.
The about section provides useful general information about the
college such as our mission as a liberal arts Christian college. The about section also has a link to our
technology page.
The technology page has links to get tutorials, blackboard,
campusweb, email, lab schedules and our help desk. You can contact our help desk through email,
phone, or a form you can fill out on the web.
Each division at has its own section of the web site to
highlight their majors, programs of study, faculty, and other related
information. If you are looking for
specific information on a professor or program, this is a great place to start.
The admissions section has content related to all things
that you need to get enrolled and started at Brewton-Parker. You will also find links to the registrar’s
office. The registrar is a key part of
your Brewton-Parker College experience because they keep track of your classes,
transcripts, grades, and help when you transfer credits into Brewton-Parker, or
should you go to another college after Brewton-Parker College.

The student body at Brewton-Parker is an active one. The opportunities for being involved in the
student life at the college runs the gambit from intercollegiate athletics to
intramural athletics, honor societies, Christian organizations, and community
service organizations. We also provide
access to all sorts of student’s services for your physical, emotional,
spiritual, and intellectual well being.

CampusWeb
For more about CampusWeb, see the tutorial on that
section. CampusWEB is BPC’s access to
many on-line systems such as course registration, course schedules, final
grades, and student information.
E-learning is a growing part of the different course delivery
methods at Brewton-Parker College. For

You may access the CampusWEB System campusweb.bpc.edu and then entering your
Login ID and Personal Identification Number (PIN). When finished, click the
Login button. If you have forgotten you password, then enter your ID and click
the Show Hint button.
Your Login ID and PIN are private information and will not be given on the phone or by
email, but you can visit any Brewton-Parker College Campus, identify yourself,
and receive the information. You can also request it to be mailed to the
address the college has on file for you. Your user id is your student ID#, and your initial password is initially
set to be your first name and birthday (i.e. john02051970 if born on February 5,
1970 and your first name is John. Don’t
use your nickname or abbreviated name and be sure to use all lowercase
letters. You will probably want to
change this once you login for the first time by clicking on my pin. You may also want to set your login hint. CampusWeb allows you to instantly access all
of your grades, schedules, and other similar information.

You may access the e-learning BlackBoard system by browsing to blackboard.bpc.edu and clicking User
Login, and then entering your Username and Password. The Username is the same as the CampusWeb
Login ID. The Password is the same as
the CampusWeb Personal Identification Number (PIN). When finished, click the
Login button. If you have forgotten you password, then click Forgot password?
And enter the information in option one or option two and you will be able to
reset your password.

All faculty, staff, and students get their own email
accounts. You should check your email
account regularly because your professors and the college administration will
utilize your Brewton-Parker College email account as their primary method of communication
with you. You will also occasionally
receive reminders and important announcements in your email. Even if you have another email account, don’t
neglect your Brewton-Parker College account. Just click on the mailbox button to login. If you have forgotten your username and
password, you can always find it in CampusWeb under the email information link
or you may contact technology services for assistance.
The first stop in learning about our email system should be

your questions at this page. If you have
a question not answered at the FAQ page, go to http://www.bpc.edu/administration/technology/contact_technology.htm and fill out the form. This is a great
way to get technical support of any kind. To check your email messages go to http://www.bpc.edu/administration/technology/technology_email.htm and click the button. I will log on to
