The mission of the Office of College Advancement is to enhance the excellence of Brewton-Parker College by raising philanthropic support. The Office focuses on gifts from individuals and non-competitive grants from foundations, corporations, and other charitable organizations.

The Office of College Advancement supports priorities of Brewton-Parker College by:

  • serving as gift stewards, i.e., regularly informing individual, foundation, and corporate donors of the financial status and use of their donated funds
  • working with faculty members and others to gain a better understanding of their specific funding needs
  • researching the practices and preferences of prospective donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations
  • providing support services in the preparation, review, submission of proposals
  • serving as a liaison between Brewton-Parker College and private foundations and corporations
  • cultivating and soliciting individuals, foundations and companies for major gifts and private non-competitive grants
  • promoting the programs of Brewton-Parker College to external audiences, including alumni, organizations and friends
